Jupiter in Taurus with Horoscopes
Jupiter travels through the Zodiac in about 12 years, spending about a year in each sign. This time Jupiter spends a solid year in Taurus, unlike some years when his travel schedule is broken into two parts. Taurus is the sign most associated with money and possessions as well as the acquisition of material things. Taurus is a sign that holds onto things that have intrinsic value. Jupiter is about expansion, growth and tends to exaggerate for bigger impact. I expect the value of luxury items to climb rather high, and interest rates are likely to go up more than speculated by bankers and investors. Taurus items would be food, perfume, chocolate and those things we are said to crave the most—and the luxuries —'I deserve this' kind of items, regardless of affordability. Mercury Story 2011 with Horoscopes
In 2011 our daily life is influenced by a need to act fast, to rush. There are so many things that demand our attention or grab our interest that it can be more difficult to stay focused. The story of what keeps our mind occupied and what tasks involving thinking we handle is told by Mercury, the planet of communication and logic. He is the one, astrologically speaking, that connects the dots. I just posted a massive write up for each of the signs—read your Mercury horoscope for the year.
The dates of the retrograde periods of Mercury for 2011 are: April 1-23, August 2-30 and November 22-December 13. Avoid getting ahead of yourself beginning about a week earlier of the beginning date of each three week period.

Current Columns with long-range horoscopes
Saturn moves into Libra October 29, 2009. The column about this influence posted October 22, 2009. This influence is in play until October 2011. Everything repeats, and this one from September 21, 1980-November 29, 1982. One of those most observable is the fashions, which return for a rerun at 30-year intervals. We had unisex track suits, lots of pastels; shirts and pants had buttons and fabric strips for rolling up the sleeves and pant legs.The previous Saturn in Libra periods October 1921 to December 1923; November 1950 to October 1953. Style and quality over price and quantity is the Libran way. From each period I recall dressy, classy outfits.

My 2012 at a Glance laminate is ready to mail. Over the years I tired looking up when Mercury goes retrograde, what degrees the eclipses take place, and hunting for the rather rare inner planet conjunctions with the Sun, so my personal year at a glance slowly took shape into the organized presentation. Many of my colleagues appreciate this tool, so I am making it available to a larger audience via my website. The side shown here has a graphic that shows the major events for the year, a table or listing for solstices, equinoxes, Mars, Sun and Mercury ingresses, outer planet aspects and notations about the year.
On the reverse side listings of the planetary stations, lunations, eclipses, Inner planet aspects, outer planet sign changes, Venus ingresses and a Mercury calendar. Moon Notes
Notes about the Moon and the Void-of-Course Moon. When the Moon is not making aspects with other planets, she is dancing to her own tune, receiving no advise nor taking it, no objections, but merely seeking her own counsel. Perhaps the best advise is to seek our own counsel during these time frames. A new Moon is the beginning, with the waxing Moon things grow, full Moon is culmination and with the waning Moon things mature. What does the year hold for me?
Every year I post horoscopes for each of the signs.These are based on the Sun sign. Did you know we each have an entire horoscope of our own, which defines who we are and what our strengths and weaknesses are.
A great birthday present is a Solar Return Report; the Sun returns to the same place it was at your birth once a year and that chart tells you about what the year ahead has in store, specifically for you.
